We are a football club. Every team has its own ups and downs. No one can expect us to perform the same level every game. We cannot win every game. We cannot score eight goals every game. We cannot keep clean sheets every game. We cannot win every trophy. What we have is a certain set of players who are trying to do their best every game. Those lads deserve our support. They have to play a game or two every week. And that’s tough. We cannot ask them to perform the same way every game.
Fans should accept that. I admit we are now losing or drawing more constantly than before. But that’s down to some poor game tactics and a little bit of bad luck. Honestly, I too am frustrated with Benitez’s tactics and our poor run of results. I am eagerly waiting for Benitez to be sacked. But the sad part is that some fans have crossed the limits by wishing Chelsea to lose the game against Wigan so that Benitez gets sacked. Now that’s cold and out of the limits. No Chelsea fan should do something like that. Not a real one. I wish Benitez gets sacked this moment. But I wouldn’t wish Chelsea to lose a game for that to happen. Not even against Sheffield Wednesday in a friendly match. I want Chelsea to score seven or eight goals every game. I mean every game.
After we won the double in 2010, a lot of people started supporting Chelsea. I was really happy about that. But in the following season, we went through a lot of bad results and finished the season trophyless. And some fans started slating the players and switched clubs. But Chelsea doesn’t want fans like that in this club. I say those people haven’t experienced the depths of being a Chelsea fan. Chelsea has always been ignored and hated by many of the football fans and experts. Even so, the true fans and the players has always been intact and didn’t give a damn about the haters. We have made history and trolled clubs through and through. We have always survived, together. Now we too will undergo bad moments. Sometimes, the bad moments take too long to disappear. But that examines the loyalty of the fans. That sees how much we love our club. That tests how much we care for our club. We lost a lot of plastic fans during the AVB days (for the better of the real fans). True fans were loyal to the club and were rewarded with the FA Cup and the first time in Chelsea history, the Champions League. Now I’m not saying we can win the Champions League every season if we stick with the club. But that doesn’t ask us to change like the changes of the tide.
Honestly, real fans wouldn’t even think about changing clubs. Because, we love the club from the deepest part of our hearts. Chelsea will be there in every big and little part of our life. Chelsea makes us happy, makes us blush, scream and sometimes even cry. But that completes the reasons why we love the club. We are a family together. We will take every downfall as an examination and will pass that every time. We don’t care about the plastic fans. We the real fans will support the club, the players and will always keep the blue flag flying high.
